Donations of materials or donations of money for the purchase of Bookmobile materials, are welcome. The Bookmobile, however, accepts donated materials with the explicit understanding that those which are useful to the Bookmobile collection will be retained, and other items disposed of by the ways set forth in the Weeding Policy.
Suggestions of specific titles or subjects are welcomed when memorial donations are given, but the final decision, based on the Bookmobile Materials Selection Policy, rests with the Bookmobile.
The Bookmobile reserves the right to integrate gifts into the general collection and an appropriate bookplate will be placed in each gift.
The Bookmobile does not appraise gifts or provide evaluations of gifts for tax deductions or other purposes but will acknowledge receipts of gifts in writing if requested by the donor.
